Hi, I'm Alyson von Massow RGD, both the "AVM" and the "creative" behind AVMcreative.
I am designer and multidisciplinary creative based out of Ontario, Canada. I love a grid and a well-balanced layout and I firmly believe the best work comes out of collaboration and honest feedback. Some of my design idols are Paula Scher, Jessica Hische, and the design team at Duolingo.
In 2019, a Personal Care catalogue that I designed was awarded an Award of Merit in the In-House Design Awards by RGD.
I'm also very proud to say that I am a certified RGD as part of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers. This certification represents dedication to a high quality of work and ethics and keeps me connected to and inspired by a vibrant community of Canadian designers.

Like most creatives, I struggle to confine myself to just one creative practice, so in addition to my design work, I am also a potter. My work typically focuses on functional pieces you can use every day like mugs, dinnerware, teapots, and coffee pour-overs, but every so often an idea will strike and I'll try something new and playful.
