How to use a coffee pour-over:

If you're like me, you enjoy the ritual of morning coffee. It’s not just about drinking it—it’s about slowing down and making it.

​Here's how I brew the perfect cup with a handmade pour-over:

​What you’ll need:
  • 20g of coffee beans (freshly ground is best)
  • 300ml of boiled water
  • Hario V60 02 filter and pour-over
  • Kitchen scale
  • Your favorite mug

How to brew:
  1. Boil water.
  2. Grind 20g of coffee.
  3. Set your mug and pour-over on the scale. Zero it.
  4. Place the filter, then rinse it with hot water. Discard the rinse water.
  5. Add the ground coffee. Zero the scale again.
  6. Slowly pour in 300ml of water.
  7. Sip and enjoy.
My go-to ratio is 20g coffee to 300ml water—scale it up for more cups, and tweak to taste!
