In the ingredient and chemical distribution industry, it's not unusual for sales teams to sell using exhaustive product lists that act as a portfolio of everything they have to offer. Cambrian has a different sales approach, and therefore our designed material needed to match that. The goal wasn't to have customers come and say "I want this, this and this, can I have pricing?" which is the type of transactional relationship that product lists typically create. We are more interested in what customers are trying to achieve and how we can help them accomplish. It's about partnership and conversation instead of a transactional relationship.
Using vibrant imagery and solutions-driven information we challenged the industry standard "product list" approach. We break our products up into easy to navigate sections, to allow potential customers to consume information that is valuable and relevant to them and the solutions to problems they're trying to solve.
This is the mindset behind the design of the various sheets and brochures: solution selling, clear information, and unforgettable imagery that stands out among a pile of lists from our competitors.
